40th National Juried Fine Art Exhibition

This event is held
each year in April. The exhibition has grown in size and stature.
Prospectus for the award winning show is available each fall
prior to the new show. Prospectus may be printed or obtained

This year AAOS is pleased
to have Sue Bennett as our judge for the 2009 Fine Art Show.
Ms. Bennett has been on the teaching staff at Central Oregon
Community College, is a workshop instructor and co-founder of
Art in the Mountains. Her mediums include oil and watercolor.
Her paintings are portrayed with simplicity of shape and rich
colors. While making a painting, Bennett gets very involved with
the medium. She says, "I paint in both watercolor and oil
to express beauty, mood and heart. I want to be emotionally caught
up in the subject from start to finish and like it best when
I am slightly surprised by the end result."
